Inspired (read stolen) by things like the Bob Dylan Theme Thyme Radio Hour and Sid Mashburns’ own WSID, I’ve put together a handful of soundtracks for travel.  Ideal for packing and making  preparations,  waiting in lines, midway of trips, and region specific tunes. Intended to provide a sonic backdrop to all that mental and physical wrangling that go along with the idea of travel; folding your wardrobe to fit into a bag, figuring out which shoes to bring, how are you going to fit all those chords in your carry on, emptying the fridge… You’re in the limbo between being deep in the details of your daily life and being whisked off to another state of mind.
